The Library has been working for 2 years to identify how to best serve our rapidly growing township. After soliciting feedback from the community on what is needed in our library, we embarked on a journey to find the best way to meet those needs. Working with a task-force comprised of community members and after hiring an architect to conduct a feasibility study on our current building, it was determined that a new building was needed and that it would not be possible at the current location. After exploring many sites, we narrowed the options down and had site plans drawn to share with the public what is possible at each location. We are excited to finally share these preliminary drawings with the public at our Site Plan Meeting.  We’ll provide an overview of the planning process, explore how we will fund the project, discuss the site plans, and, most importantly, listen to public feedback.

Can’t make it to the open house? Don’t worry! We will have the plans available at several local events, in the Library, and on the website for public viewing and comment.

**Event will be in the Community Room of McCordsville Town Hall, due to lack of space in the library.
